A.3 Optional Additional Tasks
The following may be added to your service by agreement during your Day One Home Visit or at any later point, and may be included within your plan or charged as a separate add-on as communicated to you in advance:

A.4 Food Preparation, Cooking, and Food Safety
Where you have agreed meal preparation or cooking as an optional task, the following terms apply:
Your responsibilities:
Provide fresh, in-date, and safe ingredients, and clean, functioning kitchen equipment
Specify the dishes or recipes to be prepared
Disclose, in advance and in writing (e.g. in your Household Profile), all food allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions for every household member, including children, and keep this information up to date
Decide what is to be cooked, and make the final decision on whether, when, and to whom prepared food is served and consumed
Ensure safe storage and handling of any leftovers after the session
Our commitment: The Specialist will prepare food with reasonable care and hygiene, using the ingredients and equipment you provide and following the instructions agreed.
Food-safety liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, neither FreshHausCare nor the Service Provider accepts liability for food poisoning, allergic reaction, intolerance, or any other illness or harm arising from food prepared, stored, reheated, served, or consumed in your household — including where it arises from the condition or quality of ingredients provided, from allergies or dietary restrictions not disclosed to us in advance, or from how, when, or to whom food is served or consumed. The preparation of food does not transfer to FreshHausCare or the Service Provider any responsibility for the household's decision to serve or consume it. Nothing in this section excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Singapore law, as set out in our Limitation of Liability.
B. Exclusions — Services Not Provided
To ensure clarity and avoid misunderstanding, the following are not provided as part of any standard or deep reset session, unless separately and explicitly agreed in writing:
B.1 Childcare and Supervision
We do not provide childminding, babysitting, or supervision of children at any point during a session. The Specialist's presence is limited to performing the agreed household tasks. Parents or guardians remain responsible for the supervision of children at all times during a session.
B.2 Preparation of Baby Milk Feeds and Breast Milk
We do not prepare baby milk feeds (including measuring or mixing formula) or warm, handle, or otherwise prepare expressed breast milk, under any circumstances, including as a paid additional task. This exclusion applies regardless of whether general meal preparation or cooking has been agreed under Sections A.3 and A.4. Milk bottle washing and sterilising remains included as part of your standard reset, but the preparation and feeding of milk to your child remains the responsibility of a parent or guardian at all times.
B.3 School Pickup, Errands, and Transport
We do not provide school pickup, drop-off, or any form of transport service for children or household members.
B.4 Pet Care
We do not provide pet sitting, walking, feeding, or grooming services.
B.5 Full Hand-Washing of Laundry
Laundry is loaded into the washing machine. Hand-washing is limited to a small number of soiled or delicate items per session and does not extend to full loads of hand-washed laundry.
B.6 Heavy Lifting and Furniture Moving
Specialists do not move heavy furniture, large appliances, or items that pose a manual handling risk.
B.7 Exterior and Common Property Cleaning
Services are limited to the interior of your private residence. We do not clean exterior windows that require reaching beyond the interior side, common corridors, void decks, or shared facility areas.
B.8 Repairs and Maintenance
We do not perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or any form of household repair or maintenance work.
B.9 Handling of Hazardous Materials
Specialists will not handle hazardous chemicals, biohazard material, mould requiring specialist remediation, or pest infestations. Where such conditions are identified, we will notify you and may decline to proceed with the affected area of the session.
B.10 Care of High-Value or Fragile Items
Items of significant monetary or sentimental value should be disclosed during your Day One Home Visit and secured by you if you prefer they not be handled. Liability for such items, where not disclosed in advance, is addressed under our Limitation of Liability.
C. Scope Changes
Any request for services outside the scope set out in Section A will be treated as a request for an additional task, subject to agreement on inclusion or additional cost before being carried out. Specialists are instructed not to perform tasks outside the agreed scope without prior confirmation from FreshHausCare, to protect both the consistency of your service and the wellbeing of the team.
If you would like to adjust your Household Profile to add, remove, or modify included tasks, please contact us directly — changes will be confirmed in writing and applied from your next scheduled session.
D. Amendments to This Document
FreshHausCare reserves the right to amend the included tasks, exclusions, or scope set out in this document at any time, to reflect operational, safety, or regulatory requirements. Material changes will be communicated to active clients with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of our services following such changes constitutes acceptance of the amended scope.
