FreshHaus Care — Privacy Policy
Last Updated: June 2026
1. Introduction
FreshHausCare Pte Ltd (UEN 202623485K) ("FreshHausCare", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the personal data of our clients, their household members, and visitors to our website (freshhauscare.com), in accordance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA").
FreshHausCare operates as a coordination platform that connects households with independent, licensed home service providers ("Service Providers", as defined in our Terms and Conditions). Because the home reset services themselves are performed by, and contracted directly between you and, a licensed Service Provider, delivering your service necessarily involves sharing certain personal data with that Service Provider. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with (including Service Providers), and the rights you have over your data.
By using our website, booking through our platform, or otherwise providing us with your personal data, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Data Protection Officer
In accordance with the PDPA, we have designated a Data Protection Officer responsible for ensuring our compliance with data protection obligations.
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding your personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer at: contactus@freshhauscare.com
3. Personal Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
3.1 Contact and Identity Information
Full name
Mobile number
Email address
Home address (service areas)
3.2 Household Information
Household composition (e.g. number of children, ages of children where voluntarily shared)
Household preferences (e.g. preferred cleaning products, detergent choices, organisation preferences)
Access information (e.g. door codes, entry instructions) — collected only with your explicit consent and used solely for service delivery
Your Personalised Home Profile, including notes on where items are kept and how you would like tasks performed
3.3 Payment Information
PayNow transaction references
Billing history related to your service plan
Note: We do not directly store full bank account details or card numbers. Payments are processed via PayNow, which operates independently of our systems.
3.4 Photographs
End-of-session photographs taken to confirm completion of service, sent directly to you via WhatsApp
3.5 Communications
Records of WhatsApp messages, emails, or other correspondence between you and FreshHausCare for service coordination and customer support purposes
3.6 Website Usage Data
Standard website analytics data (e.g. pages visited, general location data, device type) collected through our website hosting platform
4. How We Collect Your Personal Data
We collect personal data through:
Direct communication with you (WhatsApp, email, phone, or in-person during your Day One Home Visit)
Your interactions with our website (e.g. contact forms, booking enquiries)
Your ongoing use of our services (e.g. updates to your Household Profile over time)
5. Purposes for Which We Use Your Personal Data
We collect, use, and disclose your personal data for the following purposes:
To assess and process your service booking
To create and maintain your Personalised Home Profile
To match your household with a suitable licensed Service Provider, and to share the data necessary for that Service Provider to enter into and perform a service agreement directly with you (see Section 6.1)
To schedule and coordinate service sessions, including arranging a consistent Specialist for your household
To issue your consolidated invoice and collect payment, including collecting the service-fee portion as the Service Provider's disclosed collection agent and remitting it to them
To send you service confirmations, including end-of-session photographs
To send you your Monthly Timetable
To respond to your enquiries, feedback, or complaints
To improve our service quality and internal operations
To comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
We will not use your personal data for any purpose not disclosed in this Privacy Policy without first obtaining your consent, unless permitted or required by law.
6. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
We may share limited personal data with the following categories of third parties, strictly for the purposes described:
6.1 Licensed Service Providers
To deliver your home reset service, FreshHausCare shares relevant personal data with the licensed Service Provider that performs your sessions. This is necessary because your service agreement for the home reset work is entered into directly between you and that Service Provider. The data shared may include your name, contact details, home address, access instructions, scheduling preferences, and the relevant elements of your Household Profile, so that the Service Provider can contract with you and deploy a Specialist to perform your service.
When we share your personal data with a Service Provider for this purpose, the Service Provider acts as an independent organisation that is responsible, in its own right under the PDPA, for the personal data it holds and uses to provide your service. We require Service Providers to handle personal data in compliance with the PDPA, to use it solely for delivering your booked service, and not to use it for marketing or any unrelated purpose, or to sell it.
FreshHausCare remains your primary point of contact and remains responsible for the personal data it holds and processes for the purpose of coordinating your service.
6.2 Payment Collection
You pay FreshHausCare against a single consolidated invoice. FreshHausCare collects the service-fee portion as the Service Provider's disclosed collection agent and remits it to the Service Provider, and retains the coordination-fee portion. PayNow transactions are processed through Singapore's national payment infrastructure (administered by participating banks and ABS), which operates independently of FreshHausCare. We do not directly access or store your full banking credentials.
6.3 Technology and Operational Vendors
We may engage third-party vendors (e.g. website hosting, communication platforms such as WhatsApp Business) to support our operations. These vendors process personal data only on our behalf and in accordance with our instructions, as data intermediaries under the PDPA.
6.4 Legal and Regulatory Disclosure
We may disclose personal data where required by law, regulation, court order, or to comply with a request from a Singapore government agency, including but not limited to the Ministry of Manpower or the Personal Data Protection Commission.
We will never sell your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. Photographs and Visual Data
As part of your service, your assigned Specialist will take an end-of-session photograph to confirm completion of the service. This photograph:
Is sent directly to you via WhatsApp
Is not stored on our internal systems beyond what is reasonably necessary for service confirmation and quality assurance purposes
Will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes without your separate, explicit consent
If we wish to use any photograph of your home or household for marketing purposes (e.g. on our website or social media), we will seek your specific consent beforehand and will not proceed without it.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law.
Active clients: Your Household Profile and related data are retained for the duration of your service engagement.
Former clients: Following the end of your engagement, we retain your personal data for 12 months, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes.
Payment records: Transaction records may be retained for a longer period as required under Singapore's accounting and tax record-keeping obligations.
Licensed Service Providers are responsible for the retention and deletion of the personal data they hold in their own capacity, in accordance with their PDPA obligations.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal. This includes:
Limiting access to your personal data to personnel who require it to perform their duties
Requiring licensed Service Providers and operational vendors to maintain appropriate data protection standards
Using secure communication channels for sensitive information
However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data
Withdraw consent for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data, subject to legal or contractual restrictions
Request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain records
To exercise any of these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer at contactus@freshhauscare.com. We will respond within a reasonable time, in accordance with PDPA requirements. Where your request concerns personal data held by a licensed Service Provider in its own capacity, we will assist you in directing your request to that Service Provider.
Please note that withdrawing consent for certain data (e.g. address or scheduling information) may affect our ability, or a Service Provider's ability, to continue providing services to your household.
11. Children's Data
We understand that our services are often used by households with young children. Where Household Profiles include information about children (e.g. routines, preferences, ages), this data is collected solely for the purpose of delivering an appropriate and safe service, is shared with the licensed Service Provider only to the extent necessary for that purpose, and is treated with the same level of protection as all other personal data under this Policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children, and all such information is provided to us voluntarily by the parent or guardian.
12. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies provided by our website hosting platform to understand general website usage patterns. This data is used solely to improve our website experience and is not used to personally identify individual visitors beyond what is necessary for basic website functionality.
You may adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though this may affect certain website functions.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
